Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1996. She is an actor, well-known for Choices 2010 (also known as The Heart and Other Small Shapes), Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022), as well as The Heart and Other Small Shapes.

Asia Argento began her career as an actor as an actress in Rome. She is part of a family that also comprises of filmmakers. The Church, directed by Michele Soavi, was her first role. Red Wood Pigeon, the film she appeared in as Nanni Moretti's daughter was released a year later. But it came from Close Friends by Michele Placido that made Asia's acting career explode. The film received a great reception during the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Argento, her mother and one Argento's most beloved actors Daria was an orexic teenager searching for the killer of her parents in Trauma. Asia was in Dario's The Phantom of the Opera, the third film she directed together with her father. Two of them included Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. In 1993, Asia starred as Arianna the disabled child in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista. It was a complex and challenging role, that she was awarded an award of David di Donatello. The 1995 film she co-directed with Michel Piccoli for Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio won her an award from David diDonatello and an award of Grolla of Oro. In 1994 Asia decided to try direct and made two short films in the episode of the film De Generazione In 1996 she directed a documentary on her father and, in 1998, another film on the the cult director Abel Ferrara, AbelAsia which was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia made her debut as a director in 1999 with Scarlet Diva. It was also the principal screenwriter and actor. The film was released globally during May of 2000. It was the winner of the Brooklyn's special prize at the Williamsburg festival of film.
